Much to choose from, they make it for you in front of you. Similar to cafeteria style. If you want a salad you need to go on the salad line, tell them what you want and the cashier gives you a card. When you order you need to put the card up and they will charge the card and then... More

We ate an evening meal here and also a lunch on another day. The system of ordering is really good, effectively a tab on a card you place in front of the order station and the food (we had pasta and risotto) was superb and good portion wise. A queue even at lunchtime and then it's cooked in front of... More

Eating at VaPiano is always a pleasure. Always delicious and fresh. When traveling to Budapest it is always the first option in mind. Only problem is that every time I`ve been there, it was very crowded and had to wait on a long line.

Yes i know its a chain, but to my surprise, i had excellent pasta and pizza. I went in expecting to have "chain quality" but i was surprised and once again i was tought a lesson for underestimating. I think it was excellent. They have sectors depending on what food you will get (pasta, pizza, salads, dessert&coffee). When its your... More

Had never heard of this chain. Pleasantly surprised, the food was good, the wine ordinary. Totally geared towards a young market but I enjoyed it nevertheless. Recommended

Great place if you're looking for a quick meal but without having typical fast food! 2 pastas a pizza and 2 cokes came in under 7000 HUF and it was some of the best pasta I've ever had! Service was a little slow and it was a bit hectic but other than that impressed.

Fast food pasta cooked while you wait . Pizza was excellent . Ordering system was a little confusing and unable to find an english menu . Very busy with a lot of business lunchers. Always good if the locals eat there !. Go with a local

I am a big fan of Vapiano, simple but lovely salads, pastas and pizzas. We had lunch, it was a bit crowded and service slow, but cheap and tasty.

This restaraunt is rather unique and took a little bit of explanation by the staff. You go to different lines to order your food, one line for pasta, one for pizza and one for salads. The food was very good and the price very reasonable. If you want a dinner where you are served, this is not the place for... More

Just been to this branch and unfortunately the service is not what I had in the past in branches in London an Berlin. The food was good, as usual but some staff are just plain rude! Was trying to order some pizza and a short, slim guy with goatee was rude (Sunday 22/01/17 afternoon on the pizza kitchen) but luckily... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
