This is my third visit to this restaurant and in all 3 cases I've been impressed with the service, good quality food and the overall experience. The dishes are rich in flavour. I tried the duck breast for starter with a beetroot and venison pasta for main course. On prior occasions I've eaten fish which again was well presented. Highly... More

I have dined many times at Fausto's and can unequivocally tell you it is probably the best non-Hungarian fine dining restaurant in Hungary. The owner, Fausto, is hands on and some in his team have been with him for over 10 years. Special requests are not a problem. If you want to skip the menu and trust the kitchen you... More

Went as a couple. I'm coeliac and informed them on booking in person. Arrived a couple of hours later and they didn't have a complete understanding of my needs. Service good and not too expensive. Limited menu made even more limited by my needs.

Had the 7 course degustation menu. It was mouthwateringly superb. The chestnut soup was the best I have tasted and the quail was melt in your mouth. Very good value for money - it's a must try!

I was in the restaurant just recently with a friend of mine. We just dropped in without prior reservation. Luckily we could be seated. The service and food were both above my expectation; although I had been here earlier. Just superb!

Amazing experience : high quality Italian cuisine and delicious wines ! The decoration is modern and very stylish ( not frescoes with the Vesuvio here...), service is very professional. The meal was really outstanding ! No surprise that the Italian expat community flocks here in the evening ! They know !

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
