Friends and I had Sunday lunch at Rab Raby. You may be slightly uncertain when you enter Rab Raby as to whether it is a good choice. The atmosphere is best described as eclectic, from the suits of armour, to the plastic sharks, via the bear traps and enamel signs. But stick with it the food is excellent. I had... More

The restaurant offers Goulash cooking lesson for group. It's fun to do something different yet learning something useful. The food is okay but the restaurant interior is a museum itself with many displays and ornaments all over the walls and ceiling.

Not sure if it is restaurant or Museum. I have never seen so many collectables in one place. Every inch of space had something interesting to look at. The menu had a picture of each item and a description in Hungarian and English. It was a true Hungarian meal and far more food than we are accustomed to eating.

It is a very unique place in Szentendre downtown. Food is brilliant and traditional, staff is very friendly. The place is full of old stuff, hundeds of misical instruments, gadgets, uniforms.

This is an honest Hungarian restaurant who definitely keeps it down to earth and is not at all a tourist trap like most on the Szentendre square. Located up one of the side streets from the main centre square (it's on google maps). For 2 people, 2 forralt bors, beef stew and stuffed cabbage came to under 8000HUF including tip.... More

When entering the restaurant there are so many traditional decorations, it's very stunning, the food is basic and the staff is at times unfriendly

A bunch of us from our tour group stopped here for lunch while visiting the Village of Szentendre. The restaurant is unique as it is filled with very interesting things hanging from the ceiling and everywhere you could imagine. Service was very good, the host was friendly and kind. We had all ordered the Hungarian goulash as we were told... More

enjoyed a lovely chicken soup with saffron (not enough saffron in this world ;-) and a Hungarian chicken Lecsos with rice. Also very good. As well as some lovely local wine. we also found only a few diners there for the late mid-week lunch... cute town and charming little restaurant!

We were the only couple in the place, basic food, waited long time, over decorated , always looked empty when walked by.
