30 minutes to order, 30 minutes to wait for the drink and the order still comes badly, not recommended

This cafe serves great food, both Slovak and from the surrounding regions. The staff were efficient and the prices were very reasonable. Worth a visit!

Good value for money on both drinks and a lovely lunch with a chilled vibe and lovely surroundings with trees and the fountain near by. A little gem!

We visited Cafe Verne after work for a few beers. Cheap, cold draft pilsner on a beautiful outdoor Bratislava evening - what's not to like?? I had the duck as well - which was very tasty. Only one downside - they don't take credit cards....More

Menu offers variety of home-style food - Slovak dumplings, baked potatoes, goulash, savory pancakes, beef, pork, bean soup, etc. The interior design is darker, relaxed and there is always pleasant music. Waiters are experienced and ready to recommend you the best of their offer.

Beers are ok in rathet low prices. Food is more expensive like most restaurants in bratislava. There are tables outside looking at a big square where carlton hotel is.

The food was great. My husband liked the dark beer. It has quite a bohemian atmosphere. We really enjoyed it. Seem popular with local so can't be bad.
