They had chocolate cakes to die for. The service was great and the atmosphere was just lovely. We had some quiche for breakfast but had to sample some of those alluring cakes.

we took a break from our daily chore by enjoying a coffee and cake. Its ok, plush deco and nice to sit. Somehow folks working there expect you to pick up your cake at the counter and lack a bit of service, which is poor customs in Tallinn

Place looks nice but the staff really gives a reason for face palms. Maybe one of the juniors had his first day at work and boss was giving him a hard time. There were mix ups in orders around our table and our sandwiches were not warm. More like a fastfood place than a bistro. Sorry.

This cafe is very good place to have a cup of coffee with delicious chocolate cake or piece of hand made chocolate. Decoration style reminds me from France. You can also enjoy oven pasta, hot sandwiches or salads. Service was friendly.

A wonderful charming cafe in the old part of the city with seating outdoors as well. Surrounded by attractions Cafe Josephine fits in perfectly. Nice desserts and coffee and a charming aesthetic as well. One of the best things about Tallinn.

This cafe was just arround the corner from my hotel. I popped in several times and enjoied every visit. The interior is unusual, recreating old bohemian atmosphere, but because I was there in September and the weather was nice I enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace in front of the caffe. The coffee is very good, the quasonts light and... More

When we are travelling a nice café is always on our do-list. Josephine"s is the best café in the old town as far as I'm concerned. Lovely coffee, cakes, pralines and sandwiches to a good price. The staff is well dressed an very gentle and polite. We paied 20 euro for a Caffe Latte, ☕️ 1 beer 🍺 a tasty... More

Had lunch there with my mom as was recommended to us by the hotel receptionist. Great food and really fun decor inside. Chocolates are amazing - not cheap but totally worth it!

Stopped by during our cruise to St Petersburg. We only had a few hours to look around Tallinn, but ended up spending over one hour here due to the quality of food, drink and service. We even ordered an extra coffee, as it was so nice and the prices were very good too. Waitresses were all friendly and spoke good... More

Café Josephine is just like little Paris on Vene Street, at the gates of the Dominican Monastery. We have real coffee beverages, cakes and truffles. The café also offers small savoury snacks.
