Found this place on TripAdvisor and being in Riga on a cold and slightly snowy day meant we wanted to find somewhere to keep warm and people watch! Apsara Tea House was the perfect location to chill out and the seats upstairs are awesome. We only ordered two lattes and they were quite nice but only lukewarm, not sure if... More

We were recommended this place and it didn't disappoint. Very relaxed and chilled environment with a superb choice of teas. The coffee was good and the coconut cookies excellent. A wonderful way to spend an hour in Riga in April.

The honey cake and the cream cake are not something to rave about. Take note that everyone has to order something. We ordered 2 tea pots but were served and charged 3 without our knowledge.

We came here because TripAdvisor ranked it number 1 in cafes in Riga. I might have searched a category wrongly but this is definitely not a good cafe. The only good in this place is location and the seat upstairs provide a good view of the park and river. The cakes are not good (they are actually made of cream... More

Pleasant coffee and cakes - we had the honey cake and the cottage cheese cake which were both lovely. We visited on a Sunday which was very busy, especially upstairs, but this added to the atmosphere.

I think this is a lovely, comfortable and very special place to relax and chat with your friends. However, we had a very unpleasant welcome. Waitresses were rude, the coffee machine was broken and one of them told us "the coffee machine is broken, this is a tea house" while she was eating a biscuit. Instead, we found a coffee... More

My wife liked the look of the place so we had to pay it a visit. The staff looked a little disappointed when we chose Lattes and hot chocolates over the multitude of teas available, but they're not really my thing. The drinks very nice and served very hot, something that's been lacking in other places we've been in Riga... More

Good place to taste Apsara tea. Big variety of good quality tea. Good service with good atmosphere. Upstairs it is possible to sit on the floor on the pillows, so very romantic, especially for young couples. Downstairs it is possible to sit on the chairs with table. Not the cheapest place for tea. As well in the evening it was... More

It has nice atmosphere. However the rule that you have to order two different kinds of tea because you are two people , is cheap and ridiculous. Basically you get a pot which has 3 cups of tea . When I requested a cup for my friend waitress said I need to order another cup of tea. What kind of... More

Spotted this place while out walking and thought that looks cool ! Went in and ordered food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Sat upstairs on the cushions, great idea, very relaxing to sit and people watch through the large windows. Did not feel rushed. Great service. Free WiFi. Limited food menu but excellent quality and value. Went twice in... More
