The food was good (besides the eponymous pasties we had two different kinds of soup, both delicious), the kids' menu appealing to the kids, the staff friendly, and the upper floor room with cushions and traditional low tables gave our legs a welcome rest after a day of walking. Definitely recommend.

surprising experience to taste food comins straight from Mesopotamia in flavors and presentation. A very light luncheon, but with all the ingredients to fill the stomach on a cold spring noontime. Very friendly staff.

Kybynlar is one of those homely, family-run restaurants that manages to get things right. On the day of our visit, it was busy and had a great atmosphere. The restaurant is famed for its kibinai (like Cornish pasties). We ordered chicken and lamb kibinai with salad and were impressed with our lunch. Drinks prices here were very reasonable too. Undoubtedly... More

The dumpling soup was tasty, but the venison pie wasn't noteworthy. Kybynlar is a tourist destination, not a place people are drawn to for high quality meals.

Somehow most of the people like to visit Senoji Kibininė in Trakai. Thus, it is very crowed and sometimes you even have to wait outside to get the table. We decided to look for an alternative place to eat kibinai and found Kybynlar. This place looks pretty authentic. It has table cloths and in summer time (when second building opens)... More

I ate at this restaurant on a tour to Trakai. We had free time in the city and our guide recommended it. The restaurant was empty, because of the day and time of year of our visit, but the food was excellent and reasonably priced. I had a soup with dumplings and the local specialty, a type of meat pie.... More

This place is made in a traditional "karaim style". Staff wears traditional costumes, menu offers traditional dishes, sounds traditional music. Very very tasty food :) nice and friendly staff.
