The hotel room upgrade for free was amazing. The room is amazing value for dollar. But let's get to the food... Exceptional service. Food came out quickly and waiters were friendly. The quality of the porterhouse steak was fantastic. Medium rare was just that, and the prawns and scallops that accompanied were extremely well done. My girlfriend and I reckon... More

After hearing other people recommend the Beachcomber Inn for their quality of dining, we decided to go there for dinner with another couple. We were welcomed and shown to our table. The menu was extensive and very reasonably priced. We all had something different and the meals were all we had been led to believe. Just beautiful. Well presented, the... More

After having a superb experience here a few months ago, we decided to return for a "treat". The staff were attentive, bur kept inquiring whether we had made a reservation. This seemed odd as we were virtually the only customers. Perhaps they just wanted to go home? We ordered the tempura prawns as an entree, which we planned to share.... More

The food was amazing using local fare and the wine list was extensive reflecting wineries in the region. Gorgeous views to the marina. Lovely atmosphere too. Service was great.

Four of us had dinner at Beachcomber Inn on Saturday night and everyone enjoyed their meal. Portions were big (which suited the men) and the meals were all delicious. The staff were very pleasant and the view from the dining room over Picton harbour is fabulous.

Make sure that if you stay here you request a room on the third floor with a balcony overlooking the port. The view is spectacular. You can sit for hours just watching the boats coming and going. Good clothes washing facilities.

Huge meals, to the point of being off putting. Meats were tough in both meals. Tempura prawns were nice . Lovely view. Staff were obliging and attentive

We quite often go here on special occasions and really enjoy the restaurant, food and the view. However we visited over the Christmas period and were keen on a meal, We knew it was getting on in the evening so called in and asked if it was too late for a meal at about 8, To which the waiter checked...
