Not a great experience compared to high tea at other hotels. It could a be a great view but the chairs block the view. Awkward close seating with other guests, one person covering all the tables, no nut-free options, only a single selection for tea,...etc. Staff was friendly but overall there are so many better options. When we called we were told Valet was free at the hotel so we parked for 1 hour, when we went to pick up the vehicle we were told it was not free and all we received for afternoon tea was $5 off. Showed the attendant the hotels website and he said he did not care what the website said. I was shocked. I told him I was going to call the restaurant and he wanted me to leave immediately. Terrible. I would never recommend this hotel or their valet either.More

Nice feel to the place. The Watergate Hotel is a great venue. The drinks and service are top notch, but the food falls short. The duck was beyond tough and their variation of fish and chips overwhelmed the fish with a very heavy amount of...breading which hid the flavor of the fish.More
