I was visiting my sister at GWU and we came here to eat after I arrived as her dorm is right near the restaurant. We went around 2pm hoping to get lunch but they were still only serving brunch when we got there. They did had some lunch items on the menu so I got the blackened salmon salad. It... More

We had a tasty dinner here-jerk pork sandwich and fish tacos, with a yummy chocolate mousse for dessert (split it!).

Different levels for dinner or happy hour. Pulled pork was 😋. Macs & cheese were very good too. Hanger steak was ok. Fun environment. Friendly staff.

Come hungry, leave full. Coffee is good and not shy on the tator tots. My only dislike is no Heinz ketchup.

We were in DC visiting family and stopped there Friday afternoon for drinks at the bar and went back again in Saturday for drinks and munchies. Real casual atmosphere in the middle of the GWU/Foggy Bottom area. It was great to sit outside on Saturday with the Spring-like weather. Nice selection of beers and the "Tonic" g&t has a unique... First I thought it was overpriced, the food as well as the drinks. The tables are crowded in with others and the walkway so there is no way to move around and make it work once you're seated. Restrooms were upstairs so that could be an issue for some. The food was just okay but the portion sizes were good.... More

This restaurant is located right inside the George Washington University complex. It is easy walking distance to the Kennedy Center and we had a pre-performance early supper at 5:30p. We had made reservations through OpenTable but the place was pretty empty when we got there. It is casual but with a lot of character. The first floor has a bar... More

This was nothing spectacular but it was definitely good food at a good price in a friendly environment. My burger (with guac, egg, bacon, and salsa) was very very good. The Caesar Salad was good but not great. Would go here again.

We were done checking out the Vietnam Memorial etc and wanted something we could walk to. We were considering one of the cool food trucks around the memorials but it started raining. Our iPhones showed us "Tonic" as the closest place. Pros: Walking distance from the memorial/monument areas. Right in the middle of GW college campus Very nice staff Neat... More

This is a college bar & we were there during the holiday break. It was busy, but got a place at the bar when we arrived. I ordered the pizza, the toppings were good, the crust was under baked & not very good. My friend ordered the turkey burger which was good.
