My husband and I had lunch here while in town. We shared the lunch portion of bolognese. There was enough for both of us to eat, plus a bit more we couldnt finish. The food was good and the staff friendly.

We had diner at this place. Every portion was for four. The emphasis was more on how much then how good. Pasta was far from al dente.....deserts were good but too much sugar. I love Italian food but not the way it was cooked here.

The food at Carmine's was amazing and definitely plentiful!!! We had the pomodoro pasta and had them spice it up and add shrimp to it. The food is served family style so one order, even the lunch order like we had, is more than enough...More

Three of us shared a meal of Chicken Scarpariello. Family style means enough food for several people, you just have to be okay with everyone eating the same item. It was about $50 for the three of us without drinks. Great quality and very tasty....More

We had a great time at Carmine's in Washington DC recently. We went for a date night, knowing it was a family-style restaurant. What we didn't know is that Carmine must have had a very large family! We ordered ONE dish and ate a bunch...More

Visited with a large group, first time at Carmines. Their menu is staggering. Large plates of food served family style. Each plate easily feeds four to six adults. Varied selection with something for everyone. We had tossed salad, garlic bread, penne with vodka sauce, chicken...More

Had the opportunity to dine at carmines recently and the food was delicious! The roasted bell peppers with mozzarella were the best I've ever had. Great sauce with the penne pasta and topped off with the chocolate cake for dessert

My guess would be family-sized spaghetti for thanksgiving. You might want to call them.

This is a very large facility. I expect they can accommodate groups, as long as you call ahead.

Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. The Carmine's concept is to bring its guests a "wow-factor" sized portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast. Platters of homestyle antipasto, pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing amongst friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's.
