Husband and I went for dinner. Beware!!!!! This restaurant serves family size entrees. My hub and I could have ordered 1 entree and still wouldn't be able to get through it. The portions are huge! Now our server wasn't pleasant. They gave us 1 menu and when we asked for another one she looked at us funny then proceeded to... More

As cab was taking us down 7th Street, we saw Carmine's and decided to stop. It was around 5:30 pm and right in the middle of the National Christmas Tree lighting ceremony down the street at the White House. We were able to walk right in where we were greeted by the manager and escorted to a table. Our excellent... More

No pictures because we just couldn't wait to start! When they say family style we are talking stay at home mom in the 50's with 8 kids. There were 7 of us and we ordered 3 entrees and we took enough home for a second dinner. The lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs were saucy and really tasty. The shrimp parm... More

This is a super fun place for families, tour groups, or other large events. Carmines offers good Italian food served family style but the entrees are a bit pricey for regular spaghetti and meatballs or other common dishes. If you're looking for a date night spot there are much better, fancier Italian places for less.

The time my family and I stepped off the elevator, we felt a warm felling of home feeling and the smell of great food.

The portion of food is massive. The biggest I have ever seen. 3 people can easily share a main dish. The food was very attentive.

A full military honor service at Arlington, Va, at Thanksgiving, is something that is never ever planned well ahead of time. Needless to say, my being part of the extended family, I chose Carmines for our family of 23 to enjoy their Thanksgiving meal. Our thanks was in giving back to the family of a Ret. Colonel who had graciously... More

Came with a family of 4 (myself, my wife and two kids ages 11 and 5). We ordered a salad, eggplant parm and ravioli. Finished most of it and still had room for dessert (barely). Food is good quality, portions are family style and big enough for a family far larger than mine. Staff was friendly, service was good. Location... More

Warm and helpful staff made our Thanksgiving night even more pleasurable after a long travelling day. Special thanks to our hostess David and James, the maitre d', who contributed to make our dining experience a most memorable one!

Our daughter has had business lunches here so she knew the routine. There is one menu, it has one price for lunch items of a dish, and one priced for dinner entrees. You are advised the lunch items serve up to three, while the dinner items serve up to 4, believe me, believe them The portion are huge , but... More

Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. The Carmine's concept is to bring its guests a "wow-factor" sized portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast. Platters of homestyle antipasto, pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing amongst friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's.
