The food is served in small plates and it's recommended to order many plates and share. We ordered the Adana Kabab and Sheesh Tawoog. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because when I was washing my hands, one of the staff started wiping the sinks and didn't wait for me to finish. I felt it was rude.

Several of my co-workers went here for lunch one weekday. There is a large variety of Turkish foods - all very good. The kitchen was a bit slow, but the server was very good. Save room for dessert. Easy walk from Dupont Circle. Nice atmosphere and can easily carry on a conversation. Would definitely recommend.

Went with the family (including 9 and 6 year olds) and we all loved it. Service is great from the host thru waitstaff and bus boys. Food is authentic and of excellent quality. Best part is that most of the dishes are small plates (Kofte pictured) so everyone can experiment different things. Wine list also seemed very solid although I... More

Many of the other nearby restaurants were packed, and this place was able to accommodate our group of 5. And the service as a whole was fantastic... friendly staff, and everything was taken care of friendly quickly and professionally. The food here is a mix of Turkish, Greek, and Lebanese cuisine, served in smaller tapas-style dishes, ideal for group sharing.... More

The staff at Agora accommodated our large group so wonderfully. The food was all absolutely delicious! Like a tapas portion, so perfect for sharing and trying new things. So good. Worth a visit, for sure.

Tapas- type of restaurant. Small dishes which were all delicious. Fast and nice service. Lots of people so the noice level was quite high, which means that it is not a restaurant for small intimate talks!

My wife brought me here for my birthday. We had a great time. Maria, our server was great. Friendly, informative and responsive. Started out with traditional Turkish raki, an unsweetened, anise-flavored alcoholic drink that is popular in Turkey, Greece. Maria recommended cutting it with a little water and sipping throughout the meal. It was very good. For food we started... More

The weather was perfect for a February night in Washington DC so we decided to eat on the patio. We were greeted quickly and very pleasantly. As matter of fact all of the service was very pleasant and efficient. We ordered several small dishes and Ottoman rice which is really quite good...The pita was piping hot and delicious and all...
