Pumpernickels consistently has great bagels, pizza, and sandwiches. Try the chicken parmesan sandwich -- it's fantastic. The breakfast sandwich is also a treat. Reasonable prices for everything on the menu. This is an authentic neighborhood restaurant near a lot of good shops. Revamped interior.

Pumpernickels is kind of dingy and anything but spotless inside, but the bagels are fresh and reasonable.
