It's a sports bar so don't expect peace and quiet. I haven't seen as many tv's in one place. Added to which each is showing a different channel. The food is large. Good selection of beers and not unreasonably priced.

Went to watch playoff football. Great tvs and friendly service. Food was fair but there was there was a putrid smell like a backed up toilet that kept coming on the first floor.

We were in DC for a Redskins game and spent an evening here watching college football and had great time. The bar wasn't too busy but had a nice chilled vibe of people enjoying sports. The setup is great with the number of TV's and how compact the room is, there are no bad spots to watch the game from.... More

My inclination is to give this place 5 stars only to counter some of the lower ratings. But, I will give it what it deserves which is a solid 4.4 (it IS a sports bar, after all). I'll start with the negative and mention that they do not have dessert. We thought the waitress was kidding as we'd never been... More

In from Buffalo to visit kids, we needed a place to watch the Bills game. Our first visit to Quarter, and we were really blown away with all the tvs..30 +. Any sports you want to watch is probably already on at least one. Our waitress Bria was good and attentive, pub grub food decent, beer selection not extensive but... More

We were looking for some place to watch Sunday night football and get good food. We definitely found it in Penn Quarter Sports Tavern. Lots of televisions that are easy to see and hear. The Homemade Guacamole was excellent and the Jambalaya was even better. This is a must visit location while in Washington DC. Lots of fun and excellent... More

My husband and I had spent the early part of a cold winter day walking from museum to museum. We needed a warm happy place to rest and refresh. We had the tortilla soup, a couple of beers and enjoyed highlights from many games on their multiple tv's. just what we needed!

This bar was amazing. Good service and food!! Reasonably priced. This is definitely a broncos bar and I'm no broncos fan but it certainly seemed like everyone was welcome. Will come back when traveling in the area.

quick dinner in DC. Small sports bar, average menu, mediocre wine list. Nothing special to write home about on the menu overall.

We stopped for a late lunch at Penn Quarter Sports Tavern on a weekday. We sat outside on a glorious day and throughly enjoyed every aspect of our meal. We ordered fish tacos, BBQ burgers and the bison burger which was especially good with pimento cheese spread. PQST has a great list of craft beers. PQST is well located and... More
