Reservation necessary. Probably best place to eat before a Kennedy Center performance. But food is exotic, portions are small, and it is expensive. Yet we keep going back. Incidentally, service is good and some tables have a good view.

I love the roof top terrace. It's elegant and convenient. My daughter and I like to eat here before concerts or the theatre. We both had steaks and they were impeccable! Melt in your mouth impeccable! Wait staff is attentive. Options for allergies or dietary...More
The Roof Top Terrace experience was excellent! Oscar, our waiter made a point of finding out what time the show was and guided us through a delicious meal accordingly. We both enjoyed the tenderloin with whipped potatoes and spinach. What a tasty meal!
I recently attended a performance at the Kennedy Center when I traveled to D.C. I booked the rooftop terrace restaurant in the center because it was convenient and thought it would be special because of the location. I was very disappointed! The restaurant was decorated...More
What a great place....high expectations! We, my husband and I, went there for dinner before an evening show. The service was fine, but the food was just OK. Nothing special for the price and small portions. The rolls were not even warmed up. Since we...More

This is my favorite place for dinner in DC. In the evening especially, when you want a relaxed, unhurried place kind of like a hide-a-way, this is it. The roof top panorama is not only priceless, but it is free. I had the prime rib...More
This restaurant has the advantage of its location in the JFK Center. This is a positive as the theater goers have no other choices, except their café, and the restaurant is most likely always full, but it's a negative as only well-to-do theater patrons are...More
Both my fiancee and I became ill after eating at this restaurant. The entrees of salmon and lamb we ordered were both accompanied by dishes on the plate that we couldn't even tell what was contained in them and they tasted terrible. I attempted to...More
This used to be our regular prelude to evenings at the Kennedy Center. Not bad if you choose well, though a bit overpriced for what you get.
