I liked their chili and pub chips, and sandwiches, but all the food is good and Murphy's is a great pub environment to skip into and seek a fun escape. Reasonable prices, and a simple place you will return to - that's Murphy's!

This pub on Calvert Street in NW Washington was really great - served delicious pub fare and very friendly people, but we learned a fire caused it to close suddenly and is no longer open.

Food was fine and the drinks were fine but just your basic pub. Good for a quick bite. Staff was friendly and there is outdoor seating.

We stopped here one day as we returned from the Metro to our room at the Omni. The day was hot, the beer cold and the staff friendly. Reasonable prices.

Loved the outdoor seating and the great service. Pricing was fair and the food was great ( Fish and Chips with a cold beer ).

We went here on a weeknight because it was close to the hotel and seemed to have a good menu. Unfortunately we had a server who tended to wonder aimlessly around the restaurant so much that after ten minutes the hostess came back and took our orders. We were there for around 45 min before we got food. I had... More

This place was close to our hotel and one of the many places we walked by when we were exploring the neighborhood. It looked interesting. We returned for dinner and were disappointed at the lack of personality. We had set our expectations a little higher. The food came out fast and hot and was just okay. Service was also just... More

This was an alright little place. Good beer, pub food. Service was average, nothing spectacular. The environment is decent - think neighborhood pub. I was not blown away with anything about it, but if you are looking for a cold beer and some pub grub, you will not be let down, but you won't be impressed either.

It is right near the Marriott Wardman Park just steps from the metro station at Woodley Park. I hope you find it, it's a great place to tell people about. I don't know the street it is on.
