If you're in the mood for Asian noodles, this place is good. Not too diverse a menu besides noodle soup, however. My sister who with my teenage daughter, accompanied on a recent trip to Wash, DC for business and pleasure, recommended going to this restaurant after having seen it on Guy Fieri's Food TV show. The place is upstairs, in... More

Toki underground, wow what an amazing find and place. I saw this place featured on Guy Ferreira on food network and boy was I happy to track it down. I love ramen noodles and this is by far some of the best I have ever had. The broth was out of this world, I would be happy just to sit... More

It's a hole in the wall, walk up to second floor, only bar seating set up that is limited and once you get your spot......it will sure to please all your senses for ramen. We took an uber to and fro (highly suggest due to lack of parking and not the greatest area in town - H Street Corridor). We... More

A friend took us here after we professed love for great ramen. It did not disappoint. The ramen (traditional, and the kimchi version, too) was fantastic. So were the steamed buns with chicken (they come in a very different format than the traditional steamed pork buns we expected). And the ambience was terrific -- we sat at the "chef's table"/counter... More

The door is not well marked just look for a blue circle with Japanese writing. It's right next to a bar. Best ramen in DC so far. I had Toki classic I added a really dark meat really gamie taste but omg amazing I can't remember the name of it. It all came together well also added chili paste but... More

Been to many ramen shops in and between DC and Baltimore and Toki is the best. I've tried all their selections and all are fantastic, but a great combo is the classic or kimchi ramen with pork belly. Grab a pint from downstairs to enjoy with your ramen.

No surprise that I'm going to say I loved it! But it's a definite stop for me from now on. I had the Kimchi ramen and it was fabulous! The place is so tiny so I suggest an early lunch.

A short distance from all the monuments is toki underground, one of the best ramen / noodle restaurants I've been to. It is a VERY SMALL place, maybe 30 seats, but they know how to accommodate their guests. My friend and I had the pork dumplings (delicious!) and the fried chicken steamed buns (unbelievable!) to start. I ordered the Toki... More

My brother and I have been on the quest for Holy Grail ramen over the past month, and Toki was a must-visit. I can see why, but there were some misses: First of all, the lack of signage and rustic decor could use a lot of help. It was difficult to find on the street, and the steep stairway is... More
