Having lived in DC for 3.5 years, PDOP has been my favorite DC restaurant since the first time I dined here 3 years ago. Every time I have friends or family come to town and visit, I make a point to reserve the Chef's Table. My favorite thing on the menu is the Duck Gumbo or the Seafood Gumbo

Our party of 8 really enjoyed the ambiance, the drinks, the oysters, and the service. Main courses were uneven, with some overwhelmed by the sauce. We have been there 5 times now and enjoyed it each time, but main courses were definitely not on par with previous visits.

Dinner was enjoyed by our party of 4. The menu is extensive, including a variety of oysters. Warm biscuits were a great start. The gumbo was excellent.

A nice lunch at Pearl Dive Oyster Palace. I had the catfish BLT po boy with fries. The po boy was good, but the fries were better. I also had the ricotta beignets that were absolutely lovely. I'd easily return.

Had no problem parking, make reservations, you can only get happy hour drinks at the bar, not at a table. Great oysters, I think we tried them all. You can get very fresh Oysters in just about every kind you can imagine from very briny, to very clean tasting.

the best way to enjoy this place is in the morning sitting at the bar with a dozen of oysters and either a mimosa or a bloody Mary. or both. the oyster selection is thoughtful and tasty. the drinks are robust. the sit down portion of the place is fine too but the point is the oysters. at the bar.... One of my favorite places in DC! Fantastic location for a night out. The oysters were awesome and it's an all around fun place. Top notch French fries as well (get the bread to start!)

Seafood is the specialty here and our group of 8 friends all had various dishes featuring it. The menu is varied and a good size with a reasonable # of options in each course category, but not so many that it made choosing difficult. Several of us had different stews/gumbos and we were all happy with them. One of us... More

Visited with a local/regular. Really had a fun time. Bartenders were friendly and the oysters and mussels were out of this world.

Comfort food extraordinaire is the Pearl Dive brunch. First the staff is affable and attentive.
