This was a nice place for a dinner for five. We ordered a variety of dishes. Our server had brilliant recommendations as many in the party were first time diners. The risotto of the day was apparently brilliant; the lasagna delicious. I opted for a...More

Bread was stale—always a bad sign at an Italian restaurant. The host was not at all welcoming, and the pasta was thick and tough. The service was just ok, apart from the rude host. Definitely not a place I’d recommend or ever go to again....More

This place is very quiet and the food is excellent. It is a very easy choice in the neighborhood if you are looking for a cozy Italian place. Try the cacio e pepe.

This is basically a house converted into a restaurant with decoration in a late Victorian style. The setting and atmosphere is quite intimate. When we were there the place filled up completely as the night wore on. The starters and the entrees were delicious and...More

I cannot comprehend a rating less than 5 for this place. Everything from the squid gnocchi to the wild boar. Absolutely impeccable. Business clients enjoyed the meal equally. Bear in mind this restaurant is not handicapped accessible.

Have you ever had this happen to you? You liked the food and the service wasn't bad, but you still left the place feeling meh and wanting more? That's how I felt after Floriana. I'm not sure if I may have had high expectations because...More

All our dishes were excellent. Service was spotty - courteous and informed when they were around, but they mostly were not, leaving pouring the wine to us after the first glass, and not timely asking how the courses were. Atmosphere is cozy, but maybe too...More

They have real Italian food. I shared fried calamari with a collegue and then I had pappardelle with wild boar sauce. Everything was excellent. I paired the pasta with a glass of Nebbiolo. I would say it is a $$$ restaurant rather than $$.

My friend and I were in DC for the weekend and staying close to DuPont Circle. We made reservations for dinner here as it was close by. The weather was unusually warm and the restaurant had seating inside and out that evening. We chose inside...More

We've always used street parking. Don't know about lots. No valet. See no reason that well behaved children couldn't join you.
