Unum offers a fresh menu in a cozy setting. We especially enjoyed the half portion menu offerings - good for smaller appetites or sharing.

We chose this spot on a recommendation from a friend and based on some reviews that they could accommodate gluten-free needs. Our server was excellent and took special care of us when we mentioned it was my birthday. Our favorite parts of the meal were the roasted cauliflower and the roast duck. The caesar salad was served in a unique... More

I was here on Sunday night with a friend, and liked it so much that I booked it again on Wednesday for a business dinner. Don't miss the roasted cauliflower or the brussels sprouts. The dick was excellent as well.

Love this place! Started coming here a few years ago when they first opened and try to stop in each time I return to DC. While the restaurant is a little small (it is in Georgetown) - the menu is quite eclectic. They also do this great thing where they offer smaller portions of the main dishes - that way... More

We stopped in at the bar for drinks and ended up staying for dinner. We had the beet salad, octopus, and chicken liver for appetizers. For dinner we had the small plate portion of scallops and hanger steak. We enjoyed everything and would definitely go back. Nice atmosphere and service.

Strolled by on a Sunday evening and took a chance. We were surprised by the subtlety and creativity of the food, but the dishes were also hearty and rich in flavor. Service was both friendly and adept. The menu included seasonal vegetables and I'm sure the cauliflower appetizer was the best cauliflower I've ever had. My husband said his duck... More

There are not a huge number of choices on the menu but, they were all so good. Portions were just right. We had both meat and fish. The restaurant is one step up from casual and quite attractive. We saw customers attired from quite casual to quite elegant and all looked happy and comfortable. The place was packed and the... More

Overall this was a great dinner. The room was small but very well laid out and the food was very good. Like that they have the option of half portions. However, the service could have been more attentive. Must have walked past my table four time when I had an empty wine glass and did not come by until out... More

I actually have mixed feelings about Unum. On the one hand they serve creative and healthy food with many options to please everyone at the table. The restaurant is nice and cozy, and the service prompt and friendly. On the other hand I cannot help being a little bit disappointed. Every dish we had was prepared perfectly, nicely arranged on...
