We came here yesterday with a group of 6 people for brunch. The room is gorgeous and the service is excellent. The food is good and self served except for the omelet bar and the roast beef. The range of options will satisfy almost everyone and the food is tasty! The club on Farragagut Square has interesting paintings and some... More

Located on Farragut Square since 1885, this is a classic traditional club oozing history. You have to be a member, or a member of a reciprocal club, as we are, to dine here, and if you are, it is well worth it. Beautiful rooms with classic paintings of naval history, GW, generals and admirals, etc. The main dining room is... More

Gwen was wonderful, friendly and treated us like friends. We needed a place to stop and had the connection to use this private club. Welcoming and helpful describe our experience. If you have the opportunity and the membership ,stopping in for food and the experience is great.

My favorite restaurant in Washington D. C. The service is exemplary and the dining room is a great venue for fine dining. Also, very nice to see people talking to each other and not on their cell phones.

You must be a member or guest of a member to dine here, but the food is exquisite and the service distinguished. I dine here each time I am downtown and highly recommend it!

We had a large group go to the Club for Thanksgiving. It was a delightful experience. We ate in the Pershing Room and were there for 4 hours, yes, 4 hours, talking, eating, laughing and just having a good time. No one ever acted like they wanted us to hurry and leave. The waitstaff was great, they always kept our... More

We came to brunch yesterday with a large group. As usual we enjoyed the food and service immensely! The buffet is extensive. I particularly enjoyed the customized omelets and the roast beef cut to your particular taste. There were several choices for dessert. Only negative-I felt that the carrot cake was not as top notch as usual. The ambience is... More

This is a private club with dining limited to members & their guests. However, unlike a number of private club that seem to have "institutionalized" food, the quality of the food served at the ANC is excellent, and the service is formal & professional. Jacket & tie is required in the dining room as a bow to tradition and the... More
