Still a local place. If you're looking for a quiet, reasonable, place to eat and enjoy great Ethiopian food in Washington DC this is it! The three of us ate for a total of $45 and had lots of leftovers. Service is terrific. I understand there's live music late on the weekends but we ate there on a Monday night

The decor isn't the best but who cares, the food was wonderful. Came from NY this was absolutely wonderful.

Such a disappointment. While visiting for one night, we wandered around the neighborhood and decided on this place. None of the food we ordered matches the menu description! Wings were served without blue cheese, vegetarian combo with fish was served sans fish, fried fish sandwich was smothered in hot sauce instead of tartar (my 12 year old didn't love that:/... More

Ethiopian food is meant to be eaten communal style. Everyone at the table should order a dish (ie. One lamb, one beef, one other) and share. Someone at my table described the "bread" as a cross between a crepe and a pancake. Tear off the bread and scoop up the meat w it. The bread is wheat based so not... More

We saw this restaurant on a US review sight and having never tried Ethiopian we thought it would be a new experience. It was pouring and parking around the area was hard! Was worth fighting for a spot as the restaurant was quiet and the waitress was lovely! She was happy to explain the menu and recommend dishes for first... More

Came here for lunch while attending a conference at the DC convention center. Server was very nice. Seemed to know most of the other customers. Food was fresh and typical of Ethiopian cuisine. Good selection of vegetarian food. Worth checking out.

This was the most amazing, immersion experience, from the minute we entered. The decor, is traditional, with wonderful paintings, and beautifully dressed staff greet you, as wonderful scents such as sage and aromatics fill the air. This being our first experience with Ethiopian cuisine, it was "love at first bite"! The vegetarian dishes were abundant, and the menu boasted many... More

I was over the moon to find this place as it has some of the best Ethiopian food I've ever eaten. I had the beef tzil tzil, and it was tender, spiced to perfection, and served with plenty of injera. My partner got a spicy lamb dish that was also delicious, although a bit too hot for me, even with... More

You know that when you go for some type of ethnic food, if people that ethnicity eat there, you're in for a really good, authentic meal. That's Queen of Sheba. Their Ethiopian food was the best I've ever had - hands down. I'll definitely go back.
