In seeking a top rated Indian restaurant during a recent trip to DC, we chose Bombay Club. The restaurant is lovely and upscale. There is live piano with traditional American songs from days past - no Indian music. The service was attentive, but not warm or friendly. And while the food presentation was impressive, the food itself was barely warm... More

This is a charming room with a live piano playing in the background, excellent service and delicious food. The Kale Chaat was a delcious starter, and their vegetarian entrees, in half portions made for an amazing Thali (dont miss the dahl, brussels sprouts, cauliflower and mushrooms). I understand they are well known for their cocktails, andif you are a gin... More

Bombay Club is one of my favorite restaurants in Washington. It offers more classic fare than Rasika West End, with a more conservative decor. The food and service are excellent. During lunch, this restaurant embodies the "Hollywood for nerds" ethos of D.C. in the most positive sense; and for dinner, it's just great food in a quiet setting.

We loved the live piano music. The quiet atmosphere is conducive to conversation. The service was professional and upbeat. Great recommendations from our waiter. Glad we followed his advice. Both the salmon and the assorted vegetable entrees were delicious. The nan was outrageously good.

I went during Restaurant week...3 days ago. The food is amazingly delicious!!! The spices are perfect, the service is outstanding, the pricing (during Restaurant Week) is very affordable. I LOVE Indian food, and this easily compares to Rasikas.

I had dinner here with a large group and found the food to be really good. There was much to choose from and the curry I had was quite good. Judging from the reactions of the others in my party, I would emphatically state that the cook staff really knows how to make excellent and authentic Indian dishes.

Enjoyed the Bombay Club. Portion sizes were good - nice atmosphere. Service was impeccable. Disappointed they didn't have more Indian beer selections - only had King Fisher which I sort of equate to Corona on the Mexican side. Service was super quick - almost too much so in bringing our entrees out. I did feel like they sat us in... More
