We had the best seat in the house on the cold, rainy night of my son's 18th birthday, right in front in the bay window. We started with the pu-pu platter, complete with a fire grill. It was all so delicious, we had to place another order for the ribs. They served the best plum wine I have ever had,... More

Being in DC for a conference and after several days of American food we were looking for Asian food. Chinatown Garden is a typical Chinatown restaurant. Nothing fancy but solid Chinese food and adequate pricing. They even leave you time to first finish your soup before serving the main course. The food is not too spicy. Overall, if you don't... I expected the Chinese food in china town to be awesome- and this wasn't. The staff was not very attentive, and I'm 95% sure that my chicken wasn't cooked all the way through. The food was kind of bland.

We stepped into this restaurant within minutes of arriving in Chinatown. We were hungry and honestly tired of dealing with all the protesters in the streets. The staff was very nice and the food was fabulous! Prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place if you visit Chinatown in DC.

Very much Americanized Chinese food, but we had a great time. Enjoying an alternative Thanksgiving feast here with duck, noodles and egg rolls was a blast, and we were happy they were open. Our server was charming, and our order was delivered correctly in a reasonable amount of time.

We had a horrible experience, the food was terrible, the dumplings were so thick and nasty...service as expected in a bad Chinese restaurant. We were so mad that decided to leave a 10% tip and this caused our waitress to come back to our table complaining and insisting we leave a 15% tip, I could swear that they were insulting... More

More for tourists, rather than being authentic Chinese cuisine. Rice was MUCH too dry. Food is MUCH too expensive(around 20$ a plate) for the small portions being served

We enjoyed this place with our two children (7 and 3). They made children's chopsticks for them and were very sweet with them. The food was good, the place was clean. They brought fresh orange slices with the fortune cookies at the end, which was an unexpected and delicious treat. If you're going to Chinatown, this is a good choice.

Came into Chinatown hoping to find some good Chinese food. Being from a small town, the only Chinese available is buffet style and usually somewhat questionable. Food was definitely of a better quality. The staff were very friendly and seated us quickly. The hot tea served at the beginning of the meal was a great touch due to the cold... More
