First of all the manager went out of his way to accommodate our party of 7. We waited -gladly- at the bar where Ramin did an outs standing job. Best bar tender. Great drinks. Great conversation. Tome flew. And then our table was ready:(. Food...More

Found Clyde’s online and decided to try it for lunch based on reviews. It’s a huge plus that they take reservations! They describe themselves as a saloon but the place is much more posh than that. It was a pub-like atmosphere in some ways (aka...More

The service was outstanding on a recent visit on a crowded Thursday night. The food was very good. The salmon salad was very good. The piece of salmon was very large. The burger was good.

My family had a wonderful dining experience at Clyde's. It is well-lit and vibrant which is important to members of my family. The Mezze hummus platter was really well crafted. Our salads (brussell sprout and spring greens) were flavorful and well presented. My filet mignon...More

Went to Clyde's for a birthday luncheon and it did not disappoint. There was an hour wait, but we were able to get 4 seats at the bar. We ended up eating at the bar because our bartender, JT was very entertaining and attentive. When...More

The place reminded me of the tv show Cheers. A lot of wood and brass upon entering the bar area which then opens up into a larger dining area. Our waitress was great and had honest recommendations which we appreciated. Food was only okay though.

Hi Andrew, I can't recall whether it was on the menu but they are so accommodating I'd ring in advance and ask them the question. Love the atmosphere and level of service. Have a great time :)

Opened in 1963, Clyde's of Georgetown qualifies as an institution. This animated tavern in the heart of Washington's most famous neighborhood popularized saloon food and practically invented Sunday brunch. More than 50 years later, Clyde's continues the tradition, serving classic American cuisine to Georgetown locals and famous faces while passers-by stop in and mingle at the long oak bar. The re-designed interior is an open invitation to the restaurant's life and times with its many travel posters, paintings, and bronze statues. Clyde's of Georgetown remains a Washington classic.
