I partook of the one in Reagan National. Very tasty chili and cheese half smokes. Fairly cheap, quick and good. What more can you ask for.

This is a D.C. landmark you have to try. It has been around for over 50 years! Very flavorable food and not too expensive. It has a very good kid friendly menu. The entire family will enjoy!

I was expecting something spicy on a hotdog, but the chili was gorgeous. The chili half-smoke with chili cheese fries was a great choice. The thick, creamy chocolate milk shake was awesome. My friend recommended Ben's after filming at the classic institution during the US election for an international broadcaster. He said the staff were great, and they were, and... More

Cheese Chili Dog. Simple ingredients make a pretty good meal. Best time to go is night and with or after a ice cold beer. The place has been around forever and quite the tourist magnet. If in DC, it's a mandatory stop

If you like chili; chili dogs or "Half Smokes" (it's a DC thing"; you have to make your way to U st and Ben's! Family owned and operated since the 50's!

It was a nice visit! It was nice to see the history that has been there! I got two chili beef dogs that was way too much for me to eat but it was very good! Staff was very friendly as well! Would visit again if in the area.

Great place if you want to eat your chili fast! Very good service, and very affordable. I am giving to it 4/5 because the food is delicious, but personally I think that the chili is missing spices. Highly recommend it tho.

I had read about Ben's Chili in a DC travel book and decided I'd give it a shot on a recent trip to Washington. We had walked to the U St. location and stayed for sit-down service. Throughout the 50s-style restaurant there are family photos and pictures of celebrities who have visited the location. The staff were very friendly My... More

Very kind and humble staff working efficiently together to serve very straightforward but amazing food. Their staple is their chili dog, but they have something for everyone on the menu. You never know who you will see in there. Every president and many celebrities since who knows when have enjoyed their classic chili dog. Prepare to be impressed with such... More

Everything you expect it to be. Best chili dog in town, spend some time looking at all the photos. You won't be disappointed.
