You taste buds will thank you! Southern cuisine presented in an amazing classy display of color and style. There is nothing bad on the menu, you simply can't go wrong. The setting is as classy as the food. You tastebuds will salivate for the next bite...and you friends will thank you for your great sense of style! There is something... More

Service wasn't speedy by any means but the kitchen was impressive. It took about 2 hours for appetizer and entree courses.

Delicious lunch, fantastic service! Had she-crab soup, fried green tomatoes and gumbo, all yummy. The biscuits and cornbread with the lightly sweetened butter were a nice added touch. Would definitely go back.

This was our second time eating at a Georgia Brown's. Our first visit was 10 years ago and we were happy to see that it is still a great place for southern style cooking. The food was excellent. Reservations are recommended since this restaurant gets very crowded.

In DC for business and was looking for chicken. The bellman at the hotel recommended Georgia Browns, which was within walking distance of the hotel The location is great, less than 2 blocks from the White House. Was greeted at the door and immediately asked if I could eat at the bar, since I was alone. No problem she said,... More

This was my third visit to Georgia Brown's. It has become a place I can depend upon for delicious southern-style food and attentive professional service. This time I had the Charlston Perlau, a dish I had never heard of before. It's a spicy paella-like dish with red rice, shrimp, andouille sausage, and peppers. Highly recommended.

I wondered into this restaurant on my way home. Its on 15th street, along the cycletrack. As I was riding by, I heard some wonderful music coming from inside. And they could accommodate me. The seating is a little cramped. The tables are kinda close together. The booths looked like you might've had a little more privacy. I was dining... More

Family checked out GB last night. We are from the south and love to eat, so I've a pretty good palette for this. When you walk in, it's a bit awkward, not what I would call Southern. However, as you dive into the experience, the food makes up for it. Fried green tomatoes filled with cream cheese for app, delicious.... More
