Cool place to grab a bite! What I liked the most was that they have a menu with several dishes for you to choose. We went for the Berry Almond Swiss Oat and the Anaheim Scrambler... and both were fabulous.

Expectation was a walk in coffee and bread shop, like a Pret or Panera. Instead, they had multiple bakery options plus full breakfast menu. Good everything.

A standby for me is the soup (tortilla) and sandwich (tuna) combo. When the order was messed up a bit (only a slight error), the restaurant volunteered a free dessert. The chocolate cake was moist and delicious. All good for a misty day in DC.

My wife and I have been to DC several times and it never ceases to amaze me just how much this small cafe stands out. This place has great food and a super friendly staff- and DC prices don't apply here! I would love to single out one of the staff but they were all great this time with no... More

Called in twice for breakfast whilst visiting Washington DC. Both times greeted in a friendly manner and very chatty. Pancakes were so soft and light. Breakfast was well cooked and hot. Given breakfast tea with boiling water which makes s change and in a large cup. Recommend the breakfasts.

The meals are always tasty and the staff is always exceptionally nice! Love the freshness of the salads and the baked goods are wonderful! I've also had their pesto pasta, which I love! I signed up on their website and they frequently send me coupons for free food! This is a popular location but there is a quick turnover and... More

Very friendly staff. A waiter noticed I had not gotten my cappuccino I ordered and went straight back to get it. Great coffee and the cappuccino was nice and frothy. Great sandwich selection and very reasonable prices. Just a short walk from the White House and not too far north from the National Mall.

I had just bought 2 dozen cookies for two different client meetings I had planned for that day. The cost for the cookies was in excess of $40.00. After my transaction, and with both hands full carrying business -related materials, I asked for a bag to transport the cookies. "That will be 5 cents for the bag. There's a DC... More
