We ordered some classic Indian dishes like tikka masala, saag paneer, and naan. The food was good, but nothing extraordinary. If you’re looking for a semi-casual Indian spot in Adams Morgan then give this restaurant a try. We made a reservation for Saturday night but...More

The food here is excellent. The momo (Nepali dumplings) are really good, with the right amount of spice. Service is generally polite and fast. I've eaten in and gotten food to go, with great experiences every time. The ambiance is quiet and peaceful if you...More

The samosas were some of the best I've had, and the mint sauce was excellent. I had the lamb and chicken Himalayan BBQ and it was a nice twist on the usual. Portions were huge. If you like Indian food, you'll enjoy this place quite...More

Restaurant looks small and hidden from the outside but really great atmosphere from the inside . Staff is real friendly and fast. The food taste fabelous, we enjoyed everything and finished it all .

This isn't my first meal at Himalayan Heritage however, it's the first time the food has been this dry!! We tried to revive the salmon by using a lentil & black bean sauce but to no avail. I ain't be back anytime soon. The price...More

Four friends had a delicious meal at Himalayan Heritage restaurant. The menu is Nepalese/Indian. The service was excellent & friendly. The prices were reasonable. But most important, the food was freshly cooked (as opposed to "steam table"). We have had dinner here several times over...More

We really enjoyed Himalayan Heritage! Small but very attractive restaurant with friendly, if a bit shy, staff. The menu is focused on Tibetan food which provides an enjoyable variation to Indian, but with many of the same qualities. My daughter is vegetarian and found a...More

An attractive spot, notwithstanding the incense (not overwhelming at least, but for those of us who are not fans, distracting). Service peculiar: patrons clustered together despite mostly empty tables. Waitress had no idea about wines; couldn't explain dishes. Bill brought the minute the plates were...More

I used to visit every Tibetan restaurant in the United States and taste native foods whenever I get a chance... I don't expect perfection but I don't accept failure either... this restaurant is good in almost everything but it was not a place for authentic...More

Despite how much really I like their food, I will NEVER order from this place again. Took em 95 minutes and the delivery.com agent said the restaurant was unwilling to offer any kind of credit, saying they were very busy. I called the restaurant at...More

This seems to be the main Nepalese option in town, and a friend was craving momos, so we decided to give it a shot. It's a well-decorated restaurant behind a simple facade (you wouldn't know how nice it is just from walking by), and we...More

Order takeout from here and thought it was decent. Curry dishes could have been a little more flavorful. Also took almost 1.5 hours to deliver.
