Was there on a Sunday evening with 2 other people who were new to Ethiopian food. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. The staff was warm and friendly , very helpful when we were deciding on selections . The vegetarian sampler was delicious! Great place. Will definitively return

Excellente service. The interior was refined and polished, I loved the chandeliers and how the curtains had been arranged. Overall, the attention to details was remarkable. The portions were generous, although the food was not one of the best Ethiopian one that I have ever had.

I love Ethiopian food. Das has excellent service and nice ambience. The food was OK but lacking in spice. They just need to spice up the food. Couldn't taste any berbere in most of the dishes. I had the vegetarian sampler and the sambusas. It's strange that I can get better Ethiopian food in Honolulu. Who would've thought?

Being Mexican I truly enjoyed the restaurant, a lot of similarities with our food, you are served on a flat thin bread very much like a wheat flour tortilla, like an unwrapped burrito and eat outwards through the center; the food is spicy enough although not hot and a lot of variety on protein and grains They serve some fine... We had a large group, asked them to give us platters of the most popular assortments and it was wonderful. They placed several communal plates with ample naan bread and everyone had something they enjoyed, including vegetarians. We finished a few bottles of wine and the per person price was quite reasonable.

We went in for a weekend lunch. The place was pretty empty, though a couple of tables did fill up after 1pm. The lone server/manager - she was the only person we saw - was welcoming, efficient and prompt. The recommended option here is to go for the platters. I tried a chicken door wat which was nicely flavored with... More

My friends and I (some of whom had never had Ethiopian) made reservations for dinner here and what an experience! The space is very impressive and clean. The staff spent time chatting and explaining the dishes. And let me say they were so flavorful! Good drink menu and def try some of their coffee and deserts. I would love to... More

Loved the choices and the restaurant. I ordered their fish entree. It was wonderful. My dinner partners ordered the vegetarian sampler and was delighted with it. Please try the honey wine. The owners came by and talked with our party (It was rather large). The shrimp entree was also delightful. Didn't try the dessert... was too full.

We decided to try something new on our travels - as this was the actual holiday (lieu of Jan 1 on the 2nd) we had a bit of a time finding an open restaurant. We drove past this place and my boyfriend suggested we give it a try if it was open. Thankfully it was! Though a small indoor dining... More

Amazing food and ambience! If you haven't tried Ethiopian food before, now is your time and this is the place! My partner had never had Ethiopian food before and was a little skeptical. Once the dinner was over, he was amazed with all that the cuisine had on offer. The dishes were spicy because a we wanted them that way... More
