This is a great bakery shop and always quite popular but efficient. Really enjoyed the fresh brewed Americano here.

Take the time to look at the bakery case and baked goods behind the counter. Fast and efficient. Delicious croissants and muffins. Well worth the visit. Will be back

Eating out in DC's Cleveland Park neighborhood can be pricey, so this branch of a local chain bakery was a find. Lunch for two under $20. My veggie panini was a bit too crunchy and I probably should have tried the quiche. The salads are pre-made in a case. The baked goods are a visual delight but the brownie and... More

Time for a new baker... bagels are not made like a real bagel... soggy and too much dough. Pastries are so so. Big rip off. Atmosphere is dingy and cramped.

Firehook offers a great variety of pastries, breads and cakes. They have a variety of baguettes too. I had a bagel with egg and cheese accompanied by coffee that was hot and delicious. Seating is tight but not crammed. If it is not too cold, there are seats in the patio too. The staff is helpful and quick. Only thing... More

We used TripAdvisor and came across this bakery! The Chia Tea and Coffee was awesome... The service was a little forward! All in all it was a good experience!

A wonderful breakfast croissant with eggs, ham and cheese. It was like eating in Paris. Absolutely delicious. The price was good for D.C. The coffee was hot and good. We enjoyed it very much

It's in a great location near the metro so a steady stream of people stop by, and the coffee itself isn't bad, but its food could be a lot better. The pastries we've tried seemed a bit damp, the bread just looks limp (one day a loaf on display was literally bent in half over the rail holding it in... More

Nice place, lots of outdoor seating. This place is a good alternative to Starbucks. The chocolate croissants are pretty amazing. Iced cookies went down a treat but are quite expensive at $2.20 for one. Staff are polite. Only drawback was the woman serving me kept asking me to repeat what I was saying as if she didn't understand me. Found... More

Discovered Firehook on our recent trip to DC's Cleveland Park neighborhood. AWESOME coffee shop/bakery! The service is fast and friendly, pastries and breakfast sandwiches the bomb, and the coffee is fantastic. Great find!
