I had not been back to Acadiana in a while and was delighted, again, with my meal. Parmesan encrusted oysters to start, blacken tilapia over a corn compote plus collard greens - the perfect mix of spicy, sweet and tangy. Take me home Louisiana!

We brought colleagues here during a conference. Everyone loved the food and atmosphere. We were a rather loud table and Mauro handled it well and gave us extra care. We will go back for the food as long as we have Mauro as our server...More

Have to admit that coming into this place, I was skeptical being from Louisiana. I was very pleasantly surprised. It was one of the best brunches I have ever had. It started with the buttermilk biscuits that they brought out in the beginning. Everything is...More

I had a dinner alone The bloody mary were ok, too spicy for me...they have good list of vodka... The pork chop that I ordered was ok, but only because I was really hungry... The service is slow... Make your own decision...

I had the blackened tuna which was outstanding. The fish was moist, cooked almost to perfection and paired with the jalapeno grits a delight to the gastronomical preferences of my palate. I would go again for sure!

Interesting menu - I had a tasty omelet & home fries. My comrades had fruit - the berries looked delicious and very fresh.

Oddly enough, the deviled eggs were a highlight - three different flavors, each different and fresh. I had a Cajun inspired chicken which was tender and flavorful. Our waiter was outstanding - delivered the special s and other information succinctly, he was always standing by...More

We visited Acadiana during our vacation. We were staying at The Embassy Suites which is literally across the street from the complex the restaurant is in. We made 6 p.m. reservations during the week, because it was advised, but the restaurant was empty when we...More

Service was poor from the seating, to getting water, to being waited on. Dinner portion was nothing like the description in the menu.

Margaret C, you say there are much better restaurants to try...yet you don't mention them...that would be extremely helpful.

Acadiana offers the flavors, culture and the warmth of the seductive southern region. They offer the perfect balance of the old and new...taking advantage of the rich bounty found in the Mississippi Delta, Bayous and the Gulf of Mexico.
