The food is okay, but nothing to recommend to friends. Eaten here several with friends who wanted to try it. Specialty seems to be catfish, but, again nothing special. Anyone who is impressed with the catfish needs to try The Ark near Pell City, but that is a long drive. Too many other restaurants in the area which are much... More

Food and service were excellent! Everything was very good from the appetizers (cold slaw corn bread, and pickled onions) to the fantastic seafood!

If you like catfish, shrimp fried or grilled you can not go wrong. I had the grilled catfish and boy was it good, I substituted onion rings for the baked potato, you only get two but they are the size of a small dinner plate.

This is a 'must-do' restaurant in the Anniston area; tasty fish dishes of every variety. Above the quality of the fish and sides, the staff is very welcoming and the service is impeccable. We visited on a Friday night expecting a long wait, but were seated within 5-minutes of arrival and had a delicious starter (fried pickles and corn bread)... More

Catfish is cooked to perfection! However, the appetizer of Cornbread and Slaw is my favorite part of the meal. Cornbread comes in an individual sized Cast Iron Skillet and has a touch of Jalapeno just to keep it interesting. Definitely not spicy hot. Service has always been very friendly. Not always the fastest however, they stay pretty crowded.

All I have ever heard is that this was the best place for catfish. Nope. Mine was soggy. When I told the server, she just shrugged and said, "Oh, I would have brought you something else if you had asked." That was at the end of the meal. When I thought of the cashier that the fish needed to be... More

We try to eat there Everytime we come to Anniston Al. The river boat special is so much fish. We get the whole cat fish. The greens, cole slaw and cornbread is fabulous. Always friendly staff and the food is always hot and gooooood. Some days there is a wait but worth it. They only open for dinner hours. The... More

We ate here on a Sunday afternoon. There were several people waiting, but to our surprise, the wait was not long at all. We waited about 20 minutes for a table, and it was DEFINITELY worth the wait. Our waitress, Betsy, was so fun and all of our food was hot and more than you could ever eat! Such a... More
