This was our 4th visit in the last few years. We traveled a little over an hour each way. The catfish, shrimp, cole slaw, cornbread, spicy northern beans and pickled onions were great as always. We arrived about 3:30 on Saturday afternoon and were seated...More

We wanted to eat at the Best In Town, but it was closed the night we were there. Second place is way behind First, but was OK for the fried catfish and hushpuppies crowd. You will not go home hungry!

Service was satisfactory but not overly good. Food is decent. The catfish fillets were very thin and mostly breading. The one piece that was meaty was exceptional!! I think it is over priced. The riverboat special is now $14.95 and the combos start at $17.95....More

There food is wonderful, especially for the price. My husband and I shared the seafood platter, which was more food than we could eat. It comes with a variety of food, but when you add the cornbread and coleslaw that comes with every meal, you...More

We went at 5:45 on a Saturday night and had to wait 40 minutes for a table, but worth it! Excellent food/service. Well run, fun atmosphere. Must have catfish! Ribeye steaks also excellent. Great destination!!

Catfish at its best . Service is great and there’s never a wait to eat . Seating for 1 to 1000. They have shrimp and scallops and some of the best cornbread and greens around .
