A rustic, quaint, eclectic cafe/market/produce stand/grab-n-go food venue. Located by a garden nursery, you travel down a short unpaved drive and are greeted by several various breeds if chickens roaming the grounds. The landscaping is beautiful and well demonstrates the tie to the nursery/garden center nextdoor. You enter the unpainted wooden building directly into the indoor produce stand and market.... More

The environment, location and shop are really neat and definitely worth visiting. However, the food I was served was extremely disappointing. I had what they call a "savory," eggs Florentine crepe that was as flavorless as it could possibly be. It contained eggs, spinach and mozzarella with a few pieces of grilled onions. There was absolutely no salt, pepper or... More

We are sad that you did not enjoy your experience when you visited Crepe Myrtle Cafe. We have addressed the problems that you mentioned with the Breakfast Eggs Florentine Crepe, i.e. there wasn't enough seasoning and the crepe was too crispy for your taste. We have many savory crepes and breakfast crepes which have ingredients that add more flavor...and, we... More

What a wonderful little place in Auburn! I loved everything about this place! The food was different but outstanding. I had a hard time making a decision about what to eat but went with the Italian Chicken Crepe Sandwich, the special for the day. I think these crepe sandwiches are fantastic. I wish we had one of these places in... More

After Sunday morning church, our family of five (and a friend) had lunch with an outside table. The weather was very warm for February and the atmosphere was excellent. There were 6-7 chickens walking around, even underneath the tables but most of our kids thought that was neat (until one hen took a bite out of her sandwich). :) I... More

Crepe Myrtle Cafe is a fun place to eat, welcoming friendly service, good variety in their crepes, nice outside and inside dining and excellent food at reasonable prices. I tried the Philly steak crepe and it was great! My friend order the same and a side of French potato salad which was top notch. I am not a real dessert... More

We ran into the Crepe Myrtle just as they were opening the doors in the morning. We were in a time crunch as my daughter was here for Southeastern Swimming Championships and warmup was rapidly approaching. I explained that we were in a hurry and why and they bent over backwards to get us out in a hurry. And they... More

Everything here was amazing -- food, service, price, personnel, surroundings, ambiance. You name it, it went well! The crepes were so tasty, the fresh vegetables for sale were FABULOUS and so affordable, and the flowers were just beautiful. We will come here EVERY time we're in Auburn.

Description
This cafe is tucked in a nursery called Blooming Colors. Part of the restarant houses a farmers market of locally grown vegetables, cheeses and jams. The cafe is so charming and the deserts fantastic. We were in Auburn for a swim meet and we wanted something sweet after dinner, we found the Crepe Myrtle Cafe and our sweet tooth was satisfied. We split a lemon bar on the way back to the hotel, it was decadent. We also took a slice of carrot cake and a chocolate toffee desert both were insanely good. When we left on Sunday we stopped by and got a slice of key lime pie and a crepe stuffed with strawberries, bananas and nutella both were as delicious as the deserts on Saturday. What a special place - you've got to check it out!!!!
