Our last day in Apache Junction and we chose the ghost town for our lunch. Sitting on the deck gives you a fabulous view of the Superstition mountain with a touch of Arizona sunshine. We had chicken quesadillas and fish and fries. Everything was piping hot and delicious. Love having some of the staff dressed as characters from the old... More

We stopped into the Mammoth Steakhouse and Saloon for a couple of drinks. The atmosphere inside the saloon is interesting. Some of the waitresses were dressed in period costumes. The service was good. The chips and salsa were also good.

I have been here 2-3 times over the years, I have eaten here twice. I consider it a good place to have a burger. Never tried a steak. Food was good, but I think some would think $11 for a burger & fries is a tad spendy. Burger was fine, nothing great. But one comes here for atmosphere, old west... More

Food is ok, but prices are too HIGH. The atmosphere, however, is authentic and very enjoyable. The restroom facilities sadly NEED A LOT OF WORK!

So we decided to have a light lunch and drinks as we had dinner plans that evening and after sightseeing Superstition Mountain area chose Mammoth Saloon. We sat outside which gave a gorgeous view of the mountain. Our waitress told us of their drink special, prickly pear margaritas which we all decided to try.....they were very good! Both couples went... More

The hamburger was good, however, it was overpriced. There is no one there to greet you and you have to seat yourself. Our waitress was so rude we did not want to leave a tip. Don't bother eating here.

My son and I just got back from horseback ridding and we where hungry. I ordered a T-bone steak and My son had the chicken fingers and a Sarsaparilla. The service was very nice and the steak was pretty good. All in all we enjoyed our visit and will do it again soon.

I reviewed the Goldfield Ghost Town as a whole and included my review of the Mammoth Steak House and Saloon in it. They have a decent lunch menu and bar. Inside or outdoor seating. Live music. One downside is there is apparently a lack of water so they cannot give you a free glass of water like normal restaurants so... More

We enjoyed our lunch stop here. Service was quick, free refills on the pop. Food was fresh and tastey. The views from the back patio are pretty nice too.
