Really enjoyed the food. The chicken appetizer with two dips was excellent. The eggplant entree was superb! Great Thai iced tea to follow as well.

The veggie curry for so good, large portions, fresh vegetables, very good dinner at very reasonable cost.

For $13.50 on the lunch menu you get an appetizer and an entrée that is a work of art on a plate. You have a choice of brown or white rice. The choices are plenty; the descriptions are basic and then you decide what type of protein you want ie: chicken, pork, etc. It will suit the most discerning palate.... More

We are never disappointed at Bua Luang. Great Thai food preparations in a friendly , small venue. On this trip we had the Fish Cakes, Squid Salad, and Seafood Pad Thai. All were fresh and flavor.packed. The Thai Iced Tea is a nice accompaniment.

We don't live in the Bay Area anymore, but we've never been disappointed by this restaurant every time (6 times) we've eaten here over the past 8 years now. We've tried lots of things (green curry, soup, pasta)—they're all delicious! All we hope is they'll still be there next time we go.

The food and atmosphere here was great. It's open till 9:30 pm which is after other places on Solano Ave are closed. $11 and $12 for a hot green or red curry, plus $2.25 for good brown rice, is not a problem. I would come back regularly. But when we saw the bill, they had printed "tip suggestions" and STARTED... More

It's my second time to dine in this restaurant. The food was mouth watering and I couldn't stop eating because it was so delicious, I can even smell the fresh herbs that the chef represents on each dishes that we order. Although the price is high but hey! I enjoy every single piece on my plate. Spotless plates, contemporary touch... More

We had a seafood curry cooked in a baby coconut. You scoop out the curry including the coconut. What a treat one of those special dishes you can not make at home. The fish cakes were homemade and awesome as well. Try the hot ginger tea, wish there were free refills.

Bua Luang has an extensive, tasty array of interesting and well-seasoned choices. Try their Seafood Pumpkin Curry for a special treat. I also love their Fresh Rolls.
