Went in there to have some chaat items. Started with Pain Puri just to check. The dish they provided was a shame in the name of Pani puri. They served Puris, Boiled Veggies (Potato, Black Chana, etc), and 2 types of Water (Spicy/Sour and Sweet). Was very disappointed and hence did not try any other items.

In a nutshell: This restaurant is certainly worth the visit. With a very wide range of dishes to choose from, whether you're just interested or just a born lover of Indian cuisine, you're not going to regret it. - There's a calm atmosphere, with Bollywood music playing in the background. It really makes you think you're not in LA- especially... More

This was my 30th -31st visit to this place. Simply great for Indian chaat food like Pani puri, Chhole puri, Indian style chinese Hakka noodles etc. This is only place in Artesia offering variety of sizzlers. Rasraj also provide a store card which you can get swiped and accumulate points and get it exchange for food items in subsequent visits.... More

We had the gujarati thali. The food was good and nicely presented. It was far better than what we expected it to be. We felt that the place was a little stuffy and hot. It was like 51F outside that day (I checked the temperature in their airconditioner unit and it said 81!!!) The service was a little lethargic but... More

Prices are high and quantity or volume is less compared to near by restaurants. Many items taste bad and lot of confusion on the menu. Customer service and billing is very very bad. Some times when you look into bill they double charge the same item with different prices. When we ask the ordering person he confuses more and charge... More

All food tasted like frozen packaged food. Even the dessert was like so soft outside but when you try to bite through, it was hard. I honestly feel that they are using frozen prepackaged food to serve in the vegetable thali.

All recipes are tasty and delicious. Try out their pani puri, Dabeli, Vada Pav and dahi puri and sev papdi chaat. They also serve Indian tea , paan and kulfi- an authentic indian frozen dessert.

As far as I can tell the food is super authentic and that might either be a pro or a con depending on what you want out of your Indian food. Only one level of spiciness, no English descriptions (but there are pictures on the wall), everything is vegetarian, the menu is extensive and not that expensive, and when we... More
