The food at this establishment is always so good. The three of us had their lunch specials for $8.95. I had Pd Thai with two spring rolls with shrimp, my husband had the Yellow curry with beef and said the meat was a little tough but enjoyed it anyway. He had the spring roll that is deep fried and enjoyed... More

Our school staff eats out once a month and Royal Thai is one of our regular "go-to" restaurants because everyone always loves the food here. The Drunken Noodles are always a favorite, as are the curry dishes. My husband often choose Royal Thai on our date nights, as the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is comfortable, and they have the... More

Restaurant is located on a unique street with small shops & other restaurants. Atmosphere around it is good, service was good also, I special ordered a plate of veggies with Salmon & it came it to be good, but my wive's plate was horrible, even though it was recommended by the waitress. Over all ok!

We've eaten here almost every time we head up the hill on the way to Truckee. Service is great, food wonderful and fairly quick on/off I-80. Tonight we had 19- Drunken Noodle with chicken (yummy). 35- Pra-Ram with chicken (equally yummy!). Half/half white/brown rice and 2 perfectly made Thai ice tea. $30.00 before tip. We'll definitely return next time we... More

I ate here twice because of the convenience of being right in downtown Auburn. I love Thai food. I had drunken noodles the first time and it was good. Not fabulous but good. There were VERY few people in the restaurant both times that I was there for dinner. I liked it enough to go a second time. I had... More

When I am craving really good Thai food I drive up from Sacramento to eat here. The portions are very good. 4 Adults we usually get 1 spring role 1 curry, the pineapple fried rice and the eggplant and it stuffs us.

We eat here often, and always enjoy both the food and the service. We also like to dine on the outdoor patio during the nice weather.

While I am not a huge fan of Thai food, my wife loves it. So last week we went to Royal Thai. Since it was a warm summer evening, we sat on the patio overlooking Lincoln Way. The waitress was friendly and patient as it took time for us to decide on what to order. We were able to find... More

We visited on a Saturday evening. Flavorful food with enough for seconds (or even thirds). I'd recommend visiting this restaurant if you're hungry for Thai food.
