A really really good place to eat! Being connected to a hotel I wasn't sure how good it would be,,,but I was totally wrong ! They had the best white cheddar Mac not cheese ever! And the dessert,,wow,,to die for! A huge brownie with two big scoops of coffee ice cream on top smothered in hot fudge. Make sure you... More

Max's is friendly and responsive. I only had breakfast there. I could order from a menu or the breakfast buffet. There was a good selection of food. Separate containers for fruit let you design your own fruit bowl. No waffled, but lots of French Toast.

Great food and atmosphere. A little hard to find. But once you are there excellent. If ever in Auburn will visit again.

We have been to Max's several times in the last month or two, and while the food is OK, the atmosphere can't overcome it's history of being a coffee shop. Max's is in the former Marie Calendars building, and the decor and food have not changed much. The second trip we were in a little later than usual, so very... More

Although the service is (absent), the hot breakfast buffet is AWESOME and includes sauteed onions and peppers to dress up you scrambled eggs. YUM!

Max's is attached to the Holiday Inn, making it convenient for us to visit. We had already eaten dinner but were hungry for dessert so we dropped by and brought some yummy desserts back to our room (charged it to the room - thanks!). Upon walking in we were immediately greeted by one of the sweetest waitresses I've encountered. I... More

Eating in the bar is fun and they have great, delicious appetizers and deals on drinks. The sweet potato fries are to die for.

Had dinner here with my wife and a couple of our friends. A large restaurant, with booth and tables and a small counter. Good menu. They do serve wine and beer. I had a cheeseburger, which was good. I also had fries and cole slaw. Here's my problem. This restaurant is neither good nor bad. It is nothing to write... More

Fairly ok restaurant attached to the Holiday Inn in Auburn. Breakfast is available with an arrangement with the hotel. Dinner is fairly good and there is a decent wine list. Service is excellent with servers being very attentive that seem to do their best to please. There is an array of desserts with most being gigantic; consider the eclair the... More
