I have had a few hamburgers there over the decades. DISAPOINTING! ~~ I have also bought a few pies there, again Totally Disapointed! Their produce is way over priced. I am always surprised at the business they take in. Cost aside, I would not eat...or buy there ....even if free. *You do get checked out FAST, which is probably due to the traffic.... I will never get it! I have no idea WHAT brings customers in there.More

While we were traveling we got lucky and stopped at their market. Everything they have is top quality, but we fell in love with their pies and what a friendly service. After we came back home to Sherman Oaks, CA we keep ordering it on...line. I can not wait to travel again and visit their store again. Give them 10More

Shared a double burger, fries, onionrings, and shake. $28.00 shake was cheap soft serve and way too sweet. Terrible. Fries were good but 6 bucks is what we'd pay at a full-service restaurant. Won't be back.

Have stopped here several times over the years. It looks so promising. The reality fails miserably. Food from the grill is no better than average fast food place. The grocery store is overpriced and of average quality. The pies are made with fresh fruit. I...guess that is something.More

We stop here often on our way to Tahoe area. The pizza bagels, pastie, fresh curry chicken salad and chips and dip, plus some fresh fruit and muffins are fabulous. The burgers have always been amazing and kinda of a treat for us. They are...pricier now, so for sure a treat. This time though, they just were not what we normally would get. They were dry, basic, not great at all. The milkshake, also a treat, still was excellent. The safety precautions are a bit haphazard it feels like, signs saying mask required and all that but still allowed to get your own soda. Hand sanitizers out, but empty (though I do get they can get super busy, it was not busy at all when we were there Wednesday evening). We still love this place, but the burger and the prices in them were for sure not with the value this trip.More

Overpriced and underwhelming. Good selection of things that I didn't need. We bought a peach pie for $22.00. Got it home and found that it was either unripe or undercooked. Crunchy peaches do not make it.

You can get an individual slice of your favorite pie or the whole pie. They are all delicious. My favorites are the berry pies. The place is always packed with travelers on their way to the mountains who stop by for supplies and their favorite...pie. They have a wonderful supply of hard to find items and it’s always fun to browse and make new discoveries.More

Right on I80, known for good burgers & sandwiches. They have an expensive Crab Sandwich for a seafood fix. Pie shop and produce stand on the same site. 4 of us went to lunch, 3 had one of the burger varieties, they were happy.. Large...portions of burgers & fries. I had the $25 Crab Sandwich, something I've wanted to try for a while, 1/3 pound of crab sauteed with butter & onion on a white bun. Very mild flavor, tasty. This time of the year it's fresh dungeness crab. Had a nice big claw prominent in the sandwich. I thought I saw a sign that said it's a 1/2 of a crab. Fries included or for a small price an upgrade to Sweet Potato Fries or Onion Rings. i'll have to go back for one of those burgers. .More

Part restaurant and part shop, Ikeda’s is one of my favorite places to stop. The shop has amazing pies (the apple pie is best) and produce. They sell Bubba’s Bagels here (the pizza bagels are awesome as are the cinnamon raisin ones). The salmon with...the Ikeda’s teriyaki sauce is one of the best. The restaurant obviously sells burgers, hence the name. The burgers are mediocre. The poke bowls there are not necessarily authentic but are tasty, even if they aren’t necessarily authentic as there is a lot of onion in it. If I go to Ikeda’s almost weekly, they must be doing something right.More
