This is the second time we've been here and we love it, but be aware they have the hottest salsa we've ever had. If you're a panty waist like us just ask for the pico de gallo. The food is abundant and the drinks are healthy and large served by happy fast servers with aims to please. The music can... More

The Mexican food here was OK. Tried this place twice to get a good feel. Great service and good drinks with lots of music in the background. This is a very popular establishment, but personally I prefer my food coming hot to the point where I can't really eat it right away so it stays hot while eating. Dinner had... More

The food is awesome and a fun place to have a large group for dinner or lunch. Everything on the menu is wonderful and the salsa is not toooo hot (as I am a gringa)!

Don't understand the title of the review? It's because you've never been here before. Want to feel like long time friends when you come to a restaurant for the first time? This is the perfect place for you! The most interesting thing about Max's for my wife and me is the fact that the owner and his wife have the... More

Onions,Onions, if you like "Onions" and non-authentic Mexican food. Salsa was watery and chunky, the Coffee and water great. They only serve soggy flat potatoes. Eggs were runny for over medium. Bacon was Excellent. Do Not Order the Chili killies.."full of Onions...they do have Onion...GUACAMOLE ..lol If it wasn't for the beans, I would have starved...That's from real Mexicans.

Food was good, except the tortilla chips, which were cold. Service is good and staff is friendly. Every time you walk in, you are greeted with them saying to you," Where have you been?" Very fun.

We had a party of eight and everythingthat was ordered was great. The wet carne asada burrito is huge and the margaritas were fantastic. Service was fast and attentive.

We like this restaurant for the quality Mexican food. It has a nice atmosphere for the kids and the prices are good. All in all, one of the better Azusa restaurants.

I cant begin to tell how great the food was and big huge portions too. I went in with my sister in law she knows the place very well and introduced me to the owner whom was very happy to meet me and was very appreciative we were visiting the establishment. They make their own tortillas. The chili Verde burrito... More
