We have eaten at Mezzaluna several times over the years. It never fails. Last week, we stopped in early, for a light meal. They had an amazing veggie pizza on the happy hour menu, for about $8.00. It was enough for two. Also, we ordered...More

Very poor service. Sat for 10 minutes before waiter came by. Food was mediocre - my wife's salmon was very poor.

Had dinner here! Always loved their location in Vail, which isn't there anymore! I recommend eating at the bar if it's just a couple of you! Better prices and still good choices!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Mezzaluna's last night. It was delicious! Our reservation was at 7:30 and we stayed until nearly 11pm. They did not rush us--rather let us enjoy ourselves until we were ready to go. We all had different kinds of meals---all...More

This Italian restaurant was very satisfying - great bread, service, and food. It's conveniently located, beautifully designed, and lovely inside. We had lunch there - spaghettini with bolognese sauce. Italian food is our favorite and we weren't disappointed.

Call them: 970.925.5882 Aspen is busy during the summer, so I'd bet yes, they'll be open.

Mezzaluna, meaning “half-moon” in Italian, is an independent, locally owned and operated restaurant serving modern Italian cuisine in Aspen. Our large Italian marble bar and our beautiful patio are key features of our restaurant, and our wood-burning pizza oven helps create an authentic atmosphere. We serve lunch, après ski and dinner, with daily food and wine specials. Aspen's favorite Italian for over twernty years and with Aspen's only wood-burning pizza oven. Fresh salads, tasty appetizers, pastas, fresh seafood daily and classic favorites like chicken marsala, veal piccata and pepper-seared beef tenderloin. Our horseshoe-shaped Italian marble bar is right in the center of the action. Our walls are adorned with over 100 pieces of original Italian art, and our patio is open for outdoor dining in the Fall, Spring and Summer.
