Unless you are a fantastic writer, do not attempt to describe this restaurant food . I’m not a writer, nor is English my native language , so ... Ridiculously good, artistic presentation. If you find reservations (call a month in advance) you must try the...More

Again we returned here after a four year break having visited this restaurant many times in previous holidays to Aspen. It didn’t disappoint, great service, delicious food and a really busy, buzzing atmosphere.

It’s downstairs, but they have an elevator. Nice bar, but a bit dark in the restaurant with no windows. It was busy! We just kept ordering sushi and it was all brilliant. Nice wine list too - fun desserts - if you like sushi this...More

The Japanese eggplant with miso sauce and the black cod with miso were extraordinarily good. The "shaved ice" dessert was decadently delicious. Be sure to make reservations far in advance.

Although the menu priced in the high range, the food did not disappoint us. Very satisfying taste on most of the menu we ordered.

If you like Nobu but a little cozier, you will love Matsuhisa. Located in the town of Aspen, walking distance from the center of town, Matsuhisa is in a small house on the corner. By passing it on the street, you would never know what...More

This is my favorite restaurant in Aspen, and one of my favorite restaurants ever. It’s hard to get a reservation so book weeks in advance. It’s also somewhat expensive depending on how you order. It can be $200 per person...and worth every penny. You have...More

This is our favorite Matsuhisa! The staff is friendly, and the food is beyond amazing. Be sure to book in advance, because this may legitimately be the most popular restaurant in aspen. The yellow tail jalapeño, and tuna tacos are my absolute favorite dishes. Also,...More

Matsuhisa Aspen is nestled beneath a quaint victorian house in the mountain town of Aspen Colorado and features the cuisine of world renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Japanese-inspired seafood and sushi, as well as an ultra-hip scene and lively bar crowd can best describe Matsuhisa Aspen. We are a continuation of Matsuhisa L.A., Nobu New York, Nobu London and may more locations around the world.
