Not cheap - but great cuts of beef perfectly prepared. We went to dinner with our 15 month-old grandson - staff was very accomodating. We always come here once on each trip to Aspen.

Jimmy's is still one of the best restaurants in Aspen. We all know its great for steaks, has a wonderful atmosphere, and great service, but who'd a thought it has the best trout in town. Everything we tasted was great. The bar area is much...More

This is a hopping place right in the middle of town and a floor up from the street. A tad dated-looking maybe but forgivable as most decent steak houses tend to be. We were lucky to get a table even though it was a week...More

We were invited to Jimmy’s to catch up with some Australian friends and were pleasantly surprised at our experience. The Bar was the highlight! As you walk in there is a tiny bar that has a few sports tv’s and some tables and chairs...... it...More

This is really a nice steak house in downtown Aspen. We had filets and jimmy Mac and lobster Mac appetizers as well as a bottle of wine and a few drinks. It was about 200 bucks for three people

Since 1997, Jimmy's has been Aspen's neighborhood restaurant and bar, the kind of comfortable restaurant where you can dine again and again. Ask any local, and you will hear that Jimmy's is an "Aspen Institution." The menu has something for everyone, from the fresh-squeezed margaritas and the "locally-priced" bar menu to the famous crab cakes, USDA prime steaks, and fresh fish. "The menu is designed to feature the finest in American cuisine without being pretentious, served in an energetic atmosphere," says proprietor (and local) Jimmy Yeager. The energy at Jimmy's is what really draws a crowd; the bar is nearly always jam-packed and the dining room lively with activity and a mix of interesting people. The welcoming staff provide the best in top-notch hospitality. Jimmy's is "home" for a large community of locals and tourists alike.
