We didn't eat at J-Bar, saved that for another visit, but we stopped in for a couple of drinks. While the hotel is fancy with a capital F, and well over $1,000/night during ski season, the J-Bar is accommodating to all. The bartenders are super nice, which we found to be true of everywhere we visited in Aspen. It's famous... More

The aspen crud was great. Loved the atmosphere here too. Used to Australian shots being 30 ml. Had a shot of Petron and was surprised at the size. Hmm very mellow

Nice old hotel and bar. Great bartenders that know what they are doing. Good location on main street. Good food served as well. A little dark and private setting the way I like it.

Stopped in for a bite to eat and drinks. We knew that this was part of the famous Hotel Jerome and wanted to take a look. What a charming place! Not very big but very cozy with a friendly staff. Had a few cold beers and a burger which was very good! We enjoyed taking in the atmosphere in the... More

We wanted to stop by the Hotel Jerome for a drink in their fabulous Living Room. We checked out the J Bar and knew we had to come back and have lunch. Later that week we went to the J Bar for lunch and it was fabulous. Definitely a must lunch place. I wish we would have tried it earlier... More

This is the famous Hotel Jerome--and when you go to the J-Bar order the Aspen Crud drink. Also look around, you will more than likely see someone famous, or a star or two. Great hang-out winter or summer.

Nice old-time vibe with a cool ambiance. It was a little noisy, but not too bad. Menu was confusing with the group because all of us had different year menus, all of which had different drink options, so it took a bit to figure out what we could actually order. Food was great!

We ventured over from our hotel to give this place a try for a more casual and yet fun dinner. We really enjoyed the food though the more traditional dishes definitely were much different than expected. I'd say pass on the burgers and sandwiches and instead embrace the meatballs and edamame. You will be much happier! Also, please know it's... More

I love the old school style of the hotel and the bar is always packed. No reservations, always first come first served. The staff is professional and incredibly competent. Don't pass up this place.
