This place was recommended by people we met in a park. The food was excellent loved the chicken tortilla soup and bbq sandwich. My husband had the cheese steak which was also very good.It was very busy at lunch but we did not feel neglected.

Reasonably priced. Loved the outdoor seating. Not a great menu, but we found the salmon and the mahi mahi to be well prepared. It's billed as the oldest restaurant in town.
Checked out several places in Aspen and found The Red Onion. Food prices were very reasonable and great tasting. Service was very good. The atmosphere is very quaint and historical.

We had the macaroni, chicken quesadillas, sweet potato fries appetizers and they were amazing! The mac n cheese was the best it was a little spicy which made it great! The service was great and we really liked the atmosphere!! We would recommend this restaurant...More
Went in for lunch. Many great local beers. Soup and sandwiches were yummy. Nice variety of options. Staff was friendly and service was great.
The Red Onion had a varied menu, but we chose burgers. I had a salad with mine, which was fresh and good. Husband had fries which were great. Nice ambiance and reasonable prices.
