Good brats, pork tenderloin, beer, cake & schnitzel. But if you don't like German food, difficult to find anything to eat, other than the desserts!

AUTHENTISCH, LECKER, GEMÜTLICH! The food here is authentic and very tasty! A few of the employees speak German, but they're all very friendly and helpful. Daily specials add to the already plentiful variety of offerings here. Full bar if you want drinks, but they have...More

Having lived in Germany for a few years I always look forward to going to a German restaurant since they can be hard to find. We go to Helga's regularly and the bratwurst and wiener schnitzel are both very good, as is their beet salad...More

A Reuben is one of my favorite sandwiches and this is really the BEST I've had in Colorado. I didn't ask their secret, but I wonder if it's in the sauerkraut (?), the cheese or ??. It's not an "over the top" presentation where it's...More

The food is nothing to write home about, but not horrible. I do love their giant pretzels. I like the beers as well, especially the boot of beer. Pretty crazy way to have a giant beer. I would & will go back, it is just...More

I had the Rahm schnitzel and my wife had the seasonal lamb dumplings and they were both amazing. Great atmosphere and wonderful German beers on tap.

Authentic, fresh, tasty German cuisine with delicious beer. Friendly and accommodating wait staff and a fun albeit pricey little German "laden" to purchase some speciality items.

Experience the enchantment of quaint small towns, vineyards and farmlands as far as the eye can see while majestic medieval castles stand grandly in the distance. Absorb the delicious aromas of hearty, savory food being lovingly prepared in family kitchens sifting through open windows. Welcome to Helga's German Restaurant and Deli. Experience authentic German home-style food and drinks with served with a side of "Old World' charm. Helga's was created in 1989 as a mother-daughter venture with a small, four-table restaurant. After spending their childhood in Germany, siblings Herbert and Helga have continued the tradition of their mother, Berta. Today, Helga's has expanded but has not departed from its humble beginnings, gathering a large loyal following of wonderful customers. Helga, Herbert and family maintain a warm and friendly environment where you can sit down to an authentic and delicious home-style German meal with family and friends. In the true spirit of a family-owned restaurant, Helga and Herbert are directly involved in ensuring the satisfaction of each and every one of their customers. They are happy to offer menu or deli suggestions, or even take a moment to just stop by and chat with you in German or English.
