A billboard along I-75 south alerted us to this restaurant. Nice find on our road trip. Good food and the others said the coffees were really good. Quick service too even at lunchtime.

This was my first visit here and it was with the staff from our school. There was not a lot of seating but it was a perfect size. The food was so delicious with big good flavors making you excited for the next visit. The waitress was very courteous and was very good at explaining everything on the menu and... More

Two similar locations, one near UF campus and the other in Alachua. Both are small locations, with a "mom and pop" feel to them. Many of the staff are Latins and the service is polite and courteous. The ambiance is casual, as is reflected in the table service of Styrofoam and plastic. The food isn't what I would call spectacular...it... More

There are two Mi Apa facilities, one near the UF campus, and this one in Alachua. Both have excellent and reasonably priced Cuban food. I particularly like their Miami sandwich, which is basically a club on Cuban bread. I also find that their Chicken Fricassee is excellent, the meat just falls off the bones. Having tried a number of other... More

Born and raised in Miami, FL after I left in 1988 I always missed great Cuban food and would try every new place that claimed to have good Cuban food. Finally I have found that at Mi Apa. I haven't tried very many of their dishes but so far everything I've tried has been very good. I especially enjoy getting... More

The pressed sandwich's and black beans and rice with tostones and sweet plantains. Great service and so much more to eat. Like the wonderful Pork and rice and beans platter!
