This is a cute little tea room, just like their servings. The food was okay, but the portions were small. Great place for people who are light eaters. Decent prices, so I shouldn't expect big portions, The only sides they offer are fruit and cottage cheese. It wouldn't hurt to offer a pasta salad or even a bag of chips.... More

Set in the historic district in one of the first original malls built in the late 1800s, it is quant and comfortable. The food is very good and desserts are excellent. Service is very good and you are greeted by a gentleman in a tuxedo and top hat. Wonderful experience

Stopped in Punta Gorda for lunch on our way to the market. The place we were planning on going to was closed on Sunday, but a gentleman on the street suggested Mary Margaret's. What a wonderful hidden treasure! It's a simple quaint little place that has an old English theme to it. Probably no more than 8 tables, but the... More

Pleasant enough decor and good service. My friends and I took a break from shopping along the Main St.to stop in to this "tea room". Small, but interesting choices of sandwiches and salads on the menu. Waitress didn't rush us and we all enjoyed our lunch there.

This is my go-to place to take guests that come to visit. They have fantastic food, and the ambience is the best in Arcadia. The lobster bisque is so smooth and rich. Love their quiche. And all of their desserts are absolutely yummy! Men, don't be afraid to eat at a tea room - it's well worth it!

We stumbled upon this wonderful café on Labor Day and couldn't have been more pleased. The interior is decorated as if it were an antique shop, right down to the place settings on the table. The intimate dining area had a total of 7 tables, so we were lucky to arrive at the right time to be seated immediately. Our... More

If you want to slow down and have a different dining experience, Mary Margaret's is the place to go if you are near Arcadia. The period décor, vintage car parked outside and being greeted by a man in top hat and tails lets you know you are in for a treat. The soup and 1/2 sandwich (seafood bisque and chicken... More

We stopped at Mary Margaret's on a leisurely drive from Miami to St. Pete (via US. 27, then FL 70 - so nice to get off the highway). It was a holiday weekend, so we were't sure if they would be open; turns out they are open 7 days a week. The food was so good. We started with the... More

We stumbled upon this place while making a short visit to this city. Our lunch was wonderful....a terrfic array of sandwiches, soups, & entrees...or you could order a "tea luncheon". The decor was fabulous and the staff both friendly and unique....we were seated by a man in tails and a top hat!!!!!
