Great ambience. Very eclectic 4 course menu. We didn't eat here, as the menus was heavy with seafood and game/fowl - none of which my picky eating wife will have. Sigh. (I thought the menu rocked, but for familial peace we went elsewhere - you...More

We had to go here one night to check it out. The atmosphere seemed casual except for the white table cloths and well-dressed/trained servers. You know it's classy dining when the prices aren't on the menu, and really it doesn't matter. The food was really...More

It's really what ever you want. Khakis and a button down or even add a sport coat if you want. If you have a collar on your shirt, you're fine.

The 19th century farmhouse, now known as the Rice House restaurant, serves as the historical cornerstone on the north lawn of the resort. Meticulously dismantled on the original Rice Plantation in nearby Rome, Georgia before it was carefully relocated and resurrected at Barnsley Resort, our culinary team pays homage to the home's Southern heritage. Our chefs rely on locally farm-grazed cattle and garden-grown produce (inquire about what is grown here at the resort) as well as taking inspiration from what is in the moment and unexpected in his interpretation of modern farmhouse cuisine.

The Sun Porch and two small private dining rooms are perfect for guests wishing to entertain friends or colleagues.
